"Anti-Fog, Anti-Static- Dust Free and Scratch Protection"

Electric non conductivity is one of the various advantages that plastics possess generally. However, there are cases where this advantage turns to be a defect that static electric charge accumulates on the surface of plastics. Static electricity gives troubles such as electric shock, dust attraction and sticking of films.

Antistatic agents are used to solve the problems as related above by giving antistatic properties to plastics without altering the general mechanical properties of the plastics.

Antistatic agents have in their molecules both hydrophobic and hydrophilic radicals. Practically, the hydrophobic radicals turn to the surface of plastics, while the hydrophilic radicals turn to the air attracting the moisture in the atmosphere.

The static charge accumulation in plastics is dissipated, through the conductivity of water absorbed by antistatic agents.

At the same time, antistatic agents show the action of reducing the accumulation of frictional static charge. Thus, antistatic effect is obtained.

For the first time ever a treatment has been developed that will give AR coated lenses the ultimate properties in addition to the ones they already contain.

An easy to use oxygen curable, complex and WATER-BASED polysiloxane polymer has been developed and formulated after a lengthy time of research and with help and input of the Canadian and Quebec Governments. This  treatment will NOT affect the coatings properties but enhance them.

"Simply Easy Clean" fills the gaps between the coating crystals to create a sealed surface where dirt and grease can not penetrate between the crystals

"Simply Easy Clean" will prevent, and dissipate fogging at a 20x faster rate on AR or Anti-Reflex coated lenses compared to untreated AR coated lenses.

"Simply Easy Clean" will reject deposition of dust on  AR or Anti-Reflex coated lenses and therefore reduce the possibility of scratching the lens surface during cleaning.

How to Treat a Lens

Simply dip the lens into the polymer liquid for one second and remove. For double coat re-dip the lens one more time for one second (Any longer dipping time will result in to much deposit of the coating material). Remove and dry the water droplets of the lens from the center on towards the edge while rotating the lens. Use a fresh tissue paper with every lens as the tissue picks up uncured polysiloxane on the edges and can make hard to remove smears on another lens.

The layer of the "Simply Easy Clean" coating will cure within a few minutes and the lens is ready for use or packaging. No need for baking or heating up.

Not only are the lenses "Simply Easy Clean" treated, the treatment technique is also SIMPLE - EASY + CLEAN

THE PRODUCT

This product has a shelf live of about 4 month in the unopened bottle. If opened, and the product is kept out of range of oxygen when not in use, can last up to 2 month.. This can extended when kept in fridge.

COST PER LENS

One Gallon or 4 Liters can treat up to 5000 lenses. Therefore the cost is totally minimal by giving the end user a totally new concept in spectacle lens wearing. Longer protection against scratching and Anti-Fog properties are features that have not existed on Anti Reflex coated lenses until now.

TYPE OF LENSES TO TREATED

All lenses can be treated with this product. No side effects to any lens on the present market either from Mineral to CR39, Polycarbonate and other High Index lenses.
