With edgit Polycarbonate lenses now can now  be made to look more sophisticated by appearing with the slight hue of many beautiful transparent pastel colors without being tinted throughout the lens. This effect can soften or impact the outlook of a face, match the hair color or even the clothes without affecting the vision.

AR coated lenses can now display the soft looking hue of  edgit pastel colors without any change to AR coating qualities.

Dull and rough looking Polycarbonate edges will become highly shiny and polished with or without colors by applying edgit

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The product is available in a kit of 6 bottles, five of them containing polycarbonate edgit pastel colors and one with a non colored solution. This particular one serves to remove the applied colors.

As brush on tool there is a box of Q-tips included as well as 5 pairs of surgical gloves to protect the hands from the dye.

APPLICATION

Simply shake the   edgit dye bottle before using. Then using the glass dropper, apply 2 drops of the edgit dye mix onto a Q-tip or dip a fine brush into liquid. Wipe it around the lens edge and the edge has been tinted. The applied edgit dye will be dry within 2 to 5 seconds and the lens is ready for use.

The screw hole can also be treated just by applying a drop of the edgit dye into the screw hole. It will seal all the minute crack that occurred during the drilling process. This can be done with the dye or the colorless edgit liquid.

As the tiny cracks have been sealed there will be no crazing towards the edge of the lens and there will be much less breakage.

Any edgit dye spilling on the lens can be easily removed from the lens surface by wiping it off as it clings to the hard coat which does not absorb this edgit dye.

edgit is a coloring system where the pigments are homogeneously suspended in a solvent mix that fuses fully with Polycarbonate materials.

Any solvent emits fumes that can be damaging to the tissues and organs of the human body. Therefore when working   with a solvent, proper protection should be used, as ventilation, gloves, eye protection and proper clothing.
